I really don't know how anybody can say we are worst off. I thought our players played with a lot of patience and we tried to keep the ball. There was a large absence of hoofball.

Presume they are waiting to see "if" the current squad after playing 30 games have scored less than 24 goals, the same number as points earned under their Arc Angel, Powell, only then will they be happy bunnies.
Should BP better that record, then it must be down to inheriting a couple of Academy players, nothing to do with RD, BP, the new players and improvements to the stadium, to them it would have happened anyway, isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?

The club is better off by a mile since last season - Buyens, Vetokele, Gudmudssen, Bikey and TBH are better than what we had - the pitch was/looked awesome today - the ground was in great nick - communication with the fans has improved 2000% since TJ went Oh and the pies are better

What I liked about our play yesterday is that we tried to play out from the back. Too many times under SCP we resorted to hoofball up to Kermy and generally it didn't work. We are still short of a physical presence up top. But hopefully that will be remedied with Delorts signing. Cousins , for me, should be moved to centre midfield. Wilson to start on the right and Gudmondson on the left. Jackson doesn't have the legs to play centre midfield in a 4-4-2 and should be used from the bench. It would also be good to have another attacking option in centre midfield.

I wonder if some people still think last Seasons squad are better than the current squad? Still buzzing from a pulsating game against a very good Derby team. Everybody put in a great shift.Well done Joseph Gomez, just seventeen years old and played out of position against tough opponents. Well done Bob Peeters for making us more attacking. Really enjoying the football being played, much better than the sterile crap of the last few years.

I would ignore them Dick, they have banned me then started throwing the insults and threats around knowing I can't reply. One idiot has offered to take me on at Huddersfield Fact is there is little or no intelligence on there which is why the forum is dead. The two mods who run it need to be a bit careful with some of the inappropriate material on there. For example Nick Gray on two occasions when setting the scene to tell a story about me (below)has included in his own words imaginary 11 and 12 year old girls which doesn't sit right with me at all. If he must bring kids of that age into his warped imagination he could have just said 11 and 12 year old fans? I have written to NOT606 head office in Guernsey to point this out by means of a serious complaint as my name is contained in the same posts. 05/08/2014, 02:15 PMVol-dermort Vol-dermort is offline Senior Member Points: 50,046,484, Level: 100 Level completed: 0%, Points required for next Level: 0 Overall activity: 15.0% Achievements: 50000 Experience Points 1 year registered Join Date Aug 2013 Location Petts Wood Posts 1,837 Points 50,046,484 Level 100 Post Thanks / Like Rep Power 500374 Default Just to help you out with the first few lines of your inevitable "Peeters/Duchatelet Out" thread after we lose on Saturday at Brentford, how about something orginal from you like:
"Peeters you c**t you are clueless fella any time son can I have a free ticket chum, and take Duchatelet with you bellend I never liked him either he is a c**t too".
A 12 year old girl who actually went to the game (unlike you) and quite enjoyed will then nervously post, only to be met with 6 death threats by your goodself.
You will end Saturday evening Googling players from the Moldovan 3rd division & promising to close ITTV due to lack of posters. 17/08/2014, 05:48 PMVol-dermort Vol-dermort is offline Senior Member Points: 50,046,484, Level: 100 Level completed: 0%, Points required for next Level: 0 Overall activity: 15.0% Achievements: 50000 Experience Points 1 year registered Join Date Aug 2013 Location Petts Wood Posts 1,837 Points 50,046,484 Level 100 Post Thanks / Like Rep Power 500374 Default Has anyone else got a favourite Paul May /Reams thread on ITTV ?
My personal favourite is Paul's "Spare Ticket Wanted" thread, which appears when he fancies going to a Charlton game twice a year.
Paul posts that he needs a spare ticket.
A nervous 11 yr old girl fan then has the gall to ask him why he doesn't buy one, like the rest of us. Paul May/Reams replies that he never buys a ticket for Charlton, before burying said poster under a tirade of invective....before banning her.
Reams then starts 10 threads saying how **** everything at Charlton is, oblivious to the fact that they are short of cash because "fans" like him pay nothing towards the Club.

Appears that way lucky, doesn't paint the mods in a good light either letting those type of comments go.

It's gone too far. His views are occasionally misguided, but then again lots of people have made predictions that appear wide of the mark. I enjoy his offbeat views and think this site is better for having debate. One of the criticisms of CL was the banning of non compliant views

I quite enjoyed his posts for a while because they took an alternative view, but eventually they were taking over the forum in a wave of negativity. He was starting to do the Ackers thing of answering his own posts. I like slightly off the wall posters (eh Lucky?), but he had to go as the Forum needs to be bigger than any one member.

There's a difference in having a different view and having a discussion and constantly bringing up stupid populist bullhit-oneliners and trying to prove them with nothing less than lies. Instead of going in discussion, he always started bulling and insulting.
I, for one, was really getting annoyed with him,and since I only come here to enjoy myself it really shouldn't have taken much longer before I would have given up

He came a popular poster on here, I enjoyed his views but then came the multiple usernames and then the negativity.
Even now he still slags the club off preferring history and tradition than success, I never had him down as one of the bovril and tartan blanket brigade but clearly he is.
Anybody who expects me and Inkblot to give our free time up to keep track of who he might be from one day to the next wants to try running a forum.

There are a fair few posting on different forums talking up the players who left and what a team we would have if only such and such was still on the books. Last season's squad was in the bottom six all season and that wasn't because Slater and Jiminez refused to pay Fuller another £700k. We had 37 players on the books but not many who have left would have been in any squad this season...Morrison looks like 4th choice so that rules out the centre backs. Hamer maybe but he chose to go elsewhere. Our midfield for the last three years has never been the best...Poyet yes and I would take Ajdarevic back. And up front... Do me a favour! 10 goals in four games says it all...14/15 chances every game. Riga made the most of things and got some crucial 1 goal wins but the football was shocking... Mostly...no pace, no precision. I've had detailed discussions with a few on Charlton Life predicting how we were turning a corner and releasing 20 odd players was the beginning of a new era. You know your winning the argument when the other side resorts to personal abuse or bringing up irrelevant comments from 12 months previous... The simple thing about Riga and now Peeterscis the table doesn't lie! We are top six - with luck and signing two more decent players we might stay there until end September and beyond. Anyone talking up last season's squad just looks a right mug then. Powell, Slater and Jiminez made mistakes but over three years they got us promoted and kept us up...all the rest is noise!

I never realised that Royston Vasey was the real name for Roy "Chubby" Brown, who I have never found funny, and to my mind crude and insulting. Tell me Reams, do you think it is the same person, or has a imitator just found someone who has the same "humour" as himself
