I've told you the news mate not sure why what Angeldust says is any further advanced than what I have said, I have even named names and where they come from. Slater has decided to jet off to the sun for a week so let's up his input is not a necessity in any take over talks that are still to take place. I think the Belgian is the outsider unless he is fronting a bigger group just like the Ukranian is with the German consortium. Harris'is a big player too and his group are back in town. Lets hope they are at the game on Saturday , going to be unmissable! :') If you think that the Valley will be hosting a game on Saturday you had better think again! With the Met Office predicting more of these wet stormy weather systems over the coming month I reckon we will not host a home game all month! |

43 million seems to be the real asking price...BUT! Where does our Belgian friend find that kind of dough? His half a billion fortune is mostly tied up long term, plus his football clubs in this day and age hardly count as collateral as we can't even sell a Championship club. I'm guessing 25 million is all he can raise and / or all he wants to offer...no way would any businessman sink 10% of their fortune in a second tier football club.
Best guess is admin with Harris or Red Bull coming in and working the big one with RBG.
Get real people...this deal is about much more than CAFC.

Getting to the stage now where I am almost part caring who the next owners are. They can't be any worse than the last two.
