Yes things have been progressing well, but still a way to go I would suggest. I wouldn't like to call them vultures, but it is starting to fall into place for a group who have been patiently waiting for the grip to loosen on the clubs owners. Owners who's hands,it would seem, appear to be forced further open as each day passes. If they are successful,I think it would provide a much more stable and progressive future for the club. I wish you well.

Thanks David your infrequent but insightful comments have been greatly appreciated by most of us on ITV.
Hope your 'stable & progressive' words comes to pass!

A bit more than a hitch as I understand it but nothing that will kill it dead at this stage.

Concern over this proposed take over by a Property Company is that few in the property field have billionaires or multimillionaires on their boards, feel that we may be getting rid of the spivs only to be replaced by another company with insufficient funds to put us on the right track with managerial and player signings.
It could be replace pinky and perky with Tom and Jerry, leaving us wishing they would sell up and move on as without good investment in our Club we will still be in the mire we currently are, after all £20m, they are getting The Club for a song, could be another purchaser looking to make a quick buck.
Despondent I may be, but if they are a wealthy property company they should be in the top 100 share index, if so would their shareholders want Company money spent on a non PL football club, not if it was me.

Really hope this Takeover gets sorted soon, don't think I could take it if the new firm pulls out due to Powell's inability to get the this team going!
Even though we have a decent record at QPR, I didn't expect to get anything today anyway.
Really need a couple of faces in before Tuesday night.

Not sure that the likely purchasers are property people but what do I know - all will be revealed if a deal can be done!

That's nothing new Colin. I stated this in the week but an eleventh hour hurdle has surfaced......whether that is in the form of a second bidder I am not sure, there is another that is seriously interested though so maybe we are making the mistake of seeing what they have to offer before we dot the i's and cross the t's on the deal with the first bidder who are keen to get the deal wrapped up.

The news has been leaked this week to get the so called second bidder to formally make an offer which i understand has been made and i know that they are not American or British.

Reams, is there a time period in which it can/will be all finished by ? Or is it all up in the air at the moment...

If Slater butted out and stopped sticking his nose in things would get done a whole lot quicker. Talking to the press about moving away from The Valley doesn't help either, it's not that we won't it's just not for him to say, any announcements should come from the new owners not him.

The obvious ones are the property company and varney but thinking about all the 'past interests' could Red Bull be interested again...
