Very very sad watching the family press conference on the BBC today.
Let's hope the club can arrange to do something for the family in his memory.

How about a football match Charlton V London 11 (plays from all London clubs) and the money to go to the family or Help The Hero's.

Saw a fantastic site on Sunday coming into London on the A2, a large convoy of all types and sizes of motorbikes and by the time they got to Woolwich obviously commemorating lee, there were literally hundreds of them, a fitting tribute to a fallen soldier

As for the posts after this one, please keep it on topic - this thread is a space to remember and celebrate the life of Lee Rigby, Sasha Johnson is a separate topic altogether.

Sad to say, I’d almost forgotten about Lee amidst all the other horrible things we’ve had to endure in the intervening years. Thank you for creating the thread and reminding us of his service and courage.

Something must be done to remember Lee long term at the valley.I also hope all the fans who have been lost in the Covid period will be remembered at our first home game next season.

This thread is for tributes, thoughts and best wishes for Lee Rigby and his loved ones. Everybody, please respect this. EDIT:All posts on other topics that were on this thread have now been deleted. reamsofverse wishes ITTV to remain a football forum. I think the vast majority of us will agree with him. Exceptional threads like this one, to pay tribute to a fallen hero, are appropriate when extraordinary or tragic events make them necessary. But otherwise we'll be keeping it all things Football PS:Two members of this forum have left in the last 24 hours, possibly because of things posted that have now been deleted. Please come back fellas. Stuff like what has now been removed shouldn't be enough to drive good contributors and fellow Charlton fans away.
